A favourite amongst visitors to the Sychrov Highland Games is our “living museum”, which offers insights into the lives of warriors in the distant past, when Celtic tribes occupied the country, up to the 20th century and World War II. Visitors can experience at first hand the everyday lives of people from the given period, including fencing displays and daily training routines. And as a special treat, members of the Czech Spitfire Club will be present with a period RAF Camp, complete with their very own exact life-size model of the plane that epitomised the Battle of Britain: the Spitfire Mk.IXc. The Camp will also be hosting exhibitions to commemorate the RAF, and Czech pilots.

Boionia, a Living History group specialising in Celtic history and folklore, will be hosting a Celtic Village, complete with a number of interesting displays from the period.
